Cengage Group, a global EdTech company, has announced a major expansion of its AI portfolio across higher education, workforce training and K-12. The company’ s AI-powered Student Assistant is already seeing strong adoption, with students engaging four to five times longer than with other tutor bots. This fall, more than one million students will use the Student Assistant across 100 + Higher Ed products, offering personalised, 24 / 7 learning help. ISACA, a global IT professional association, and Nigeriabased INGRYD Academy have announced a five-year partnership to advance IT and cybersecurity readiness and workforce development in Africa. The initiative will equip 10,000 aspiring professionals with in-demand training and access to ISACA’ s global community, supporting Nigeria’ s digital talent pipeline and helping close cybersecurity workforce gaps. Each year, 2,000 INGRYD students will gain access to ISACA Fundamentals courses, a oneyear student membership, mentorship opportunities and industry events. The collaboration aligns with Nigeria’ s national workforce goals and Africa’ s growing digital economy, projected to reach US $ 180 billion by 2025, according to a report from IFC and Google.“ Empowering the next generation as they embark on their tech career journeys not only ensures the strength of our global IT and cybersecurity workforce but also builds economic growth,” said Chris Dimitriadis, ISACA Chief Global Strategy Officer. World Wide Technology( WWT) has partnered with Ideas en Acción to launch Red MenTe: Employability Boost, a professional development programme equipping women in Costa Rica with skills to succeed in STEM careers. The initiative will support 60 participants from the Red MenTe National Network of Women in Technology. More than 50 women will receive full scholarships for a 16-week virtual training programme with certifications in data analytics, cybersecurity, cloud computing and digital mobility. Delivered through WWT’ s Advanced Technology Centre, the courses provide access to cutting-edge tools and expertise.“ WWT is committed to creating more access to education and employment in the technology sector,” said Elkin Suarez Durall, General Manager, WWT Costa Rica.
